Domestic Passenger Terminal T3, Tan Son Nhat International Airport stands as more than merely a new symbol of Ho Chi Minh City’s dynamic growth; it has evolved into a destination of profound emotion during the year-end festive season. Embracing the theme "Opening the Door to Global Connection”, T3 has adorned itself in resplendent Christmas attire, transforming every journey into a meaningful and immersive cultural experience.

Marking a harmonious intersection between modern architecture and the festive spirit, passengers will perceive a subtle transformation in the terminal’s ambience from their very first steps: a shift from the rhythmic hustle of travel to moments of warmth and tranquility. An artfully orchestrated lighting system, flowing from the outer lobby to the interior, cultivates an atmosphere of serenity and peace. This display serves not only as a vibrant welcome to the holiday season but as a beacon of new beginnings, faith, and hope for the journeys that lie ahead.

A striking highlight of this transformation sees the terminal’s distinctive Y-shaped columns whimsically reimagined as colossal candy canes wrapped in crimson velvet. At the welcome gates, the verdant hues of pine garlands, the glow of reindeer, and festive red bows offer a spirited reception. Most notably, the depiction of Santa Claus clads in pilot attire, accompanied by a reindeer-led aircraft laden with gifts, weaves a Christmas narrative with a unique aviation signature: marking the terminal as the departure point for joy and connection.

The radiant reindeer herd and exquisite decorative accents at the entrance instill a sense of serenity immediately upon arrival.

In the atrium connecting the departure and arrival levels, two magnificent light trees featuring soft, cascading layers of illumination reminiscent of a galaxy create a mesmerizing visual axis that seamlessly links the two zones.

The pièce de résistance of Terminal T3’s festive décor is situated near the automated check-in counters in the East Wing: a unique conceptual tower constructed from seven aircraft models. Crowned by a brilliant star—symbolizing hope, fresh starts, and soaring aspirations—this installation bears a bold aviation identity while perfectly capturing the vibrant and bustling beauty of the festive season.

The unique aircraft tower, an assembly of seven models rising with proud verticality, stands as a powerful symbol of Vietnamese aviation’s soaring aspirations to reach global heights.

The decorative landscape within Terminal T3 represents a harmonious tribute to the interplay between modern vaulted architecture and the open, welcoming essence of Vietnamese cultural identity. This serves as a definitive affirmation of T3’s stature: it is far more than a mere transit hub. It is a vibrant cultural sanctuary, a place dedicated to service and delivering deeply enriching experiences to passengers on every path of global connectivity.
