Total passenger traffic across ACV’s airport network reached nearly 61 million passengers, equivalent to 48.3% of the annual plan and representing an increase of more than 6% compared with the same period in 2025.
Cargo and mail volume reached nearly 920,000 tonnes, equivalent to 48.5% of the annual plan and an increase of nearly 13% year on year. Total aircraft movements exceeded 369,000, representing 48.9% of the annual plan and an increase of nearly 5% compared with the previous year.

Financial indicators also remained closely aligned with the annual plan. Total revenue reached VND 10.745 trillion, equivalent to 50.83% of the annual target and an increase of 1.78% year on year. Profit before tax reached VND 5.862 trillion, fulfilling 83.61% of the annual plan, while contributions to the State budget totalled VND 1.635 trillion.
Accelerating Infrastructure Development to Create New Momentum for Vietnam’s Aviation Sector
Alongside its operational responsibilities, ACV continues to concentrate resources on nationally important infrastructure projects and airport upgrading and expansion programmes across its network.
A key priority is the Long Thanh International Airport Project, a strategic infrastructure development of particular importance to the competitiveness of Vietnam’s aviation industry. ACV is making every effort to accelerate construction and complete essential components, with the goal of completing the Long Thanh International Airport passenger terminal by the end of 2026.

ACV is concentrating resources on accelerating the Long Thanh International Airport Project and completing its key components.
Alongside Long Thanh, a number of other major infrastructure projects are being implemented under strict controls relating to progress, quality and legal compliance. These include the expansion of Passenger Terminal T2 at Noi Bai International Airport; the expansion of aircraft parking aprons and the aviation fuel system at Noi Bai; the construction of Passenger Terminal T2 at Dong Hoi Airport and Cat Bi International Airport; the expansion of Ca Mau Airport; and the repair of the runway and taxiway system at Lien Khuong International Airport, together with several other essential projects.
Advancing Digital Transformation and Improving Passenger Services and Experience
One of ACV’s key achievements during the first half of 2026 was the continued advancement of digital transformation in management, operations and passenger services.
Automated non-stop payment systems, the use of chip-based national identification through Level-2 VNeID accounts and biometric technology for air passengers continued to be implemented. These solutions help shorten processing times while improving the safety, convenience and modernisation of the passenger journey.
Operational systems such as Airport Collaborative Decision-Making, or A-CDM, at Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat International Airports, as well as AODB, FIDS, iCUTE, self-service check-in kiosks and self-bag-drop systems, continued to be operated and further developed.
These systems support more effective operational coordination, improve airport efficiency, reduce pressure on conventional service processes and enhance the overall passenger experience.

Biometric technology and self-service facilities improve the passenger experience and reduce processing times at ACV-operated airports.
In parallel with digital transformation, ACV is gradually advancing green transformation and incorporating environmental, social and governance, or ESG, principles into its development strategy. These are important foundations for a sustainable development model in the future. This approach is not only an essential requirement for a modern aviation industry, but also a necessary direction for ACV to strengthen its competitiveness throughout the process of international integration.
Strengthening International Recognition through Global Standards and Assessments
The quality of services provided at ACV-managed airports continues to be recognised through various international certifications and assessments. ACV successfully completed the renewal of its IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations, or ISAGO, certification in 2026. Cat Bi and Phu Bai International Airports were awarded ISAGO certification, while Lien Khuong, Vinh and Can Tho International Airports continued to complete their respective assessment processes during the year.
Notably, Noi Bai and Da Nang International Airports were ranked among the world’s Top 100 Airports. Da Nang was also included among the Top 10 Airports in Asia, while Cam Ranh International Airport was ranked among the world’s Top 10 Cleanest Airports by Skytrax. These achievements contribute to strengthening the profile of Vietnam’s airport network on the regional and global aviation map.

ACV-operated airports achieved notable results in the 2026 Skytrax rankings.
Expanding International Connectivity and Supporting Economic Growth
During the first six months of 2026, ACV continued to promote business development and market expansion in line with its international integration strategy. The corporation proactively strengthened cooperation with domestic and international airlines and partners, while participating in major trade and investment promotion forums to expand Vietnam’s international air connectivity.
ACV’s recognition among the Top 10 Famous Vietnamese Brands in 2026 for the eighth consecutive year reflects a sustained brand-building journey closely linked to operational capabilities, service quality, social responsibility and a long-term vision for infrastructure development.
With a strong foundation, an innovative mindset and the determination of the entire corporation, ACV continues to affirm its role as a core enterprise in the development of Vietnam’s national aviation infrastructure. Through its activities, ACV contributes to economic growth, national defence and security, while further strengthening the position of Vietnam’s aviation sector internationally.
