On June 24, 2025, in Hanoi, ACV and Sun Group officially signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement.

According to the agreement between ACV and Sun Group, the two parties have agreed to strategic cooperation across multiple fields, opening a corridor for comprehensive collaboration that will ensure the effective operation of Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA), a new domestic airline invested in and developed by Sun Group. Beyond just operational management, both parties also aim to establish new service standards, striving for 5-star quality, where every passenger touchpoint is synchronously upgraded in terms of space, amenities, and experience. In particular, both parties will deploy high-quality lounge systems at airports where Sun PhuQuoc Airways plans to operate, ensuring a seamless high-end resort experience from sky to ground, which the airline is pursuing and wants to offer its customers.

ACV's role is to provide the launchpad for SPA to take off and expand, with a synchronized airport infrastructure system, professional operational procedures, and absolute security and safety standards. ACV's participation ensures that SPA has a strong start, operates efficiently, and complies with the highest standards of the global aviation industry.

Specifically, ACV will provide all necessary operational services at the airports where Sun PhuQuoc Airways is expected to operate, including ground handling services, passenger services, baggage and cargo handling, and other airport services.

Sun Group commits to prioritizing the use of ACV's services, from ground to flight operations at ACV-managed airports, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and class. At the same time, Sun Group will expand cooperation with ACV in areas such as tourism promotion and destination communication; enhancing customer experience, and so on. According to the roadmap, the contents of the agreement will be formalized through bilateral MOU when SPA completes its commercial operational procedures.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Dang Minh Truong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sun Group, affirmed: "An airport is not just the starting point for an exploratory journey, but also where the first impression of a nation is created. The cooperation between Sun Group and ACV is not merely about coordinating infrastructure operation, but a strategic step to optimize the passenger experience, seamlessly connecting a resort airline with the world-class tourism and service ecosystem created by Sun Group."

This memorandum of understanding is also particularly significant as Phu Quoc is expected to become an international event hub when it hosts the APEC High-Level Meeting 2027. The coordination between ACV and Sun Group is not only aimed at serving increased travel demand but also at standardizing infrastructure and services in line with internationalization.

The comprehensive cooperation between ACV, a key state-owned corporation in aviation infrastructure, and Sun Group, a multi-industry private economic group, is expected to create an effective, high-class cooperation model with a shared major goal - to elevate Vietnam's position on the world aviation and tourism map.

Expected to take flight in Q4 2025, SPA is positioned as a Full-Service Carrier, flexibly combining a charter flight model. More than just transportation, Sun PhuQuoc Airways is the first experience in a luxurious resort journey that visitors will feel, from flight services to ground services, seamlessly integrated with Sun Group's ecosystem.
