In response to the directives of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union, the Trade Union of Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), in coordination with its affiliated units, successfully organized a wide range of activities in celebration of Workers’ Month and the 2026 Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Action Month. Implemented across the whole corporation, the initiatives delivered tangible benefits while generating strong engagement among employees throughout the ACV system.
Promoting a strong safety culture in the digital era
The campaign commenced with all ACV-affiliated units simultaneously launching Occupational Safety and Health Action Month under the 2026 theme: “Innovating management and enhancing occupational safety and health effectiveness in the digital era.”
Awareness and communication activities were carried out through a variety of channels, including LED display systems, terminal information screens, internal newsletters, and airport broadcasting networks. Trade union organizations at all levels also hosted seminars and employee forums under the theme “Employees and Occupational Safety & Health,” creating open and constructive platforms for workers to share ideas, discuss workplace challenges, and contribute solutions to improve occupational safety and working conditions.
Alongside communication efforts, innovation and digital transformation initiatives gained significant momentum. Numerous technical improvement projects, operational optimization solutions, and energy-saving initiatives were recognized by local evaluation councils and successfully applied in day-to-day operations, contributing to enhanced efficiency and productivity across the corporation.
Demonstrating a strong sense of social responsibility, Trade Union organizations worked closely with Youth Union members to organize environmental clean-up campaigns and improve workplace landscapes. These activities helped create greener, cleaner, and more attractive airport environments while highlighting the image of ACV employees as dedicated professionals who are equally committed to community well-being.

Putting employees at the heart of every initiative
During workers’ month, particular emphasis was placed on enhancing employees’ material and spiritual well-being.
One of the highlights was the ACV Sports Festival 2026, which brought together employees from across the corporation through a variety of sporting competitions, including football, tug-of-war, badminton, pickleball, and other team-building activities. The event fostered camaraderie, strengthened teamwork, and promoted a healthy and active workplace culture.
In parallel, ACV organized Employee Recognition Conferences and the “Trade Union Meal” Program, creating meaningful opportunities for management and employees to come together, share experiences, and recognize the dedication and achievements of outstanding individuals and teams.

Enhancing safety preparedness and supporting employees in need
To ensure the highest standards of operational safety, airports throughout the ACV network organized emergency response drills, including aircraft incident simulations in challenging terrain and specialized firefighting and rescue training programs. These exercises reinforced emergency preparedness and enhanced the professional capabilities of frontline personnel responsible for maintaining safe airport operations.
At the same time, ACV’s long-standing tradition of solidarity and mutual support was reflected through a series of employee welfare initiatives. Trade Union representatives conducted visits to employees facing difficult family circumstances, serious illnesses, or occupational accidents, offering encouragement and practical assistance.
A total of 364 support packages, valued at more than VND 900 million, were presented to employees in need. Beyond the financial support provided, these gestures carried a deeper message of care and solidarity, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to standing alongside its workforce during challenging times.

Building a safe, inclusive, and sustainable workplace
As the 2026 workers’ month and occupational safety & health action month concluded, the achievements of the campaign extended beyond raising awareness of workplace safety. The activities fostered a stronger sense of pride, unity, and resilience among ACV employees while reinforcing the corporation’s people-centered values.
Through these practical and meaningful initiatives, ACV continues to demonstrate its commitment to creating a modern, safe, inclusive, and sustainable working environment, one where employees are empowered to thrive, contribute, and grow together with the organization.
