Against a backdrop of continued growth in the aviation market, the airport network managed by ACV maintained stable operations, increasingly meeting demand for passenger travel and air cargo transportation. During the first nine months of 2026, the network handled 94.1 million passengers, up 8.6% year-on-year; 1.4 million tons of cargo, up 9.8%; and 568,445 aircraft movements, up 7.1%. International passenger volume reached 36 million, an increase of 10.8%, reflecting the continued recovery and expansion of international air travel.
In the third quarter of 2026 alone, the network served 33.1 million passengers, up 12.7% year-on-year, while cargo throughput exceeded 480,000 tons, increasing by 4.2%. Aircraft movements totaled 198,988, up 11.5% compared with the same period in 2025.

ACV's airport network recorded growth in the first nine months of 2026, with passenger traffic rising 8.6%, cargo throughput increasing 9.8%, and aircraft movements growing 7.1% year-on-year.
Alongside traffic growth, ACV continued to deliver positive business results. For the first nine months of 2026, total revenue of the Parent Company increased by 6% year-on-year, while profit before tax exceeded 31% of the full-year target. These results reflect not only favorable market developments but also ACV's capacity to organize, manage and optimize resources amid the expanding scale of its operations.
Accelerating investment and preparing for enhanced infrastructure and operational capacity
During the first nine months of 2026, ACV continued to allocate substantial resources to infrastructure development, with Long Thanh International Airport remaining its top investment priority.
As the project enters its final construction phase, ACV has mobilized additional personnel and equipment and organized extended working hours and additional shifts to accelerate progress. The objective extends beyond completing a major infrastructure project: it is equally important to ensure the synchronized readiness of infrastructure, equipment, technology, operational procedures and human resources, enabling a safe and efficient transition from construction completion to airport operations. In particular, information and communications technology (ICT) systems for Long Thanh International Airport are being expedited to meet key milestones for operational trials, handover and preparations for service commencement.

ACV is advancing preparations for the operational launch of Long Thanh International Airport in line with a phased approach to increasing operational capacity, ensuring safety, efficiency and alignment with infrastructure completion milestones
Alongside Long Thanh, several other major airport infrastructure projects across ACV's network continued to progress. The runway and taxiway work at Lien Khuong International Airport were completed, and the airport resumed operations on 19 August 2026. The expansion and upgrade of Ca Mau Airport continued to be accelerated, while the cargo terminal at Cat Bi International Airport had substantially completed construction and equipment installation, with procedures underway for operational commencement.
Other projects, including Terminal T2 at Cat Bi Airport, the expansion of Cat Bi's aircraft apron, Terminal T2 at Dong Hoi Airport, the extension of the runway at Vinh Airport, and development projects at Da Nang, Tuy Hoa and Cam Ranh airports, continued to advance according to plan. These investments are progressively expanding operational capacity and strengthening infrastructure across ACV's airport network.
At the Conference, representatives from Ca Mau Airport and Lien Khuong International Airport presented thematic reports focusing on key tasks and solutions for executing the 2026 plan. With the presentation "Focusing resources, preparing necessary conditions to bring Ca Mau Airport to the finish line", Ca Mau Airport emphasized the need to mobilize and coordinate resources effectively, accelerate project deployment, strive to reopen the airport in November 2026, and complete the entire project in December 2026. Meanwhile, the presentation "Leadership, implementation of political and business tasks in the first 9 months; proposing breakthrough solutions to successfully implement 2026 tasks" by Lien Khuong International Airport evaluated operations since the airport reopened on August 19, 2026, ending a 6-month temporary closure for runway and apron renovation. It also proposed solutions to maintain stable operations, improve business efficiency, and achieve assigned targets for 2026.

Strengthening safety, service quality and operational efficiency
Aviation safety and security remain fundamental priorities across all ACV operations. During the first nine months of 2026, ACV strengthened controls over operational hazards, including birds and wildlife, drone, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), airborne objects and adverse weather conditions. The corporation also coordinated with relevant authorities to refine aviation security programs, procedures and regulations.
Alongside operational safety, ACV continued to enhance service quality through standardized procedures and a stronger focus on passenger experience. The corporation completed corrective actions for all 15 recommendations arising from an audit under the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) program. Cat Bi International Airport and Phu Bai International Airport were awarded ISAGO certification by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), while preparations continued for ISAGO assessments at Vinh, Can Tho and Lien Khuong international airports.
The implementation of Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) also continued to deliver positive results, improving operational predictability, resource coordination and flight turnaround efficiency. At Noi Bai International Airport, on-time performance (OTP) reached 71.47%, while aircraft taxi-out time decreased by nearly 1.5 minutes per flight. At Tan Son Nhat International Airport, average taxi time was reduced by 0.48–0.65 minutes per flight, contributing to fuel cost savings of more than US$3.7 million.

Expanding international cooperation and enhancing connectivity
Air connectivity across ACV's airport network continued to improve. According to the 2025 Air Connectivity Index released in September 2026 by Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & Middle East), Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat international airports were recognized among the airports demonstrating notable connectivity improvements in the 25–40 million passengers-per-year categories. Da Nang International Airport also featured among the leading improvers in the 5–15 million passengers-per-year categories.
These results underscore the increasingly important role of ACV's airport network in connecting Vietnam's economic and tourism centers with the wider region and the world.
ACV's standing within the international airport community also continued to strengthen. In September 2026, ACV's leadership participated in the ACI World Governing Board, marking another step forward in the corporation's deeper engagement with global airport cooperation and governance. This participation provides a valuable platform for expanding international partnerships, exchanging expertise, strengthening management capabilities and progressively aligning ACV's development with international standards.
