On the morning of 22 June 2026, Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) officially conducts the renewal audit programme for the Ground Operations Safety Certification under the international ISAGO standards. The event once again affirms ACV’s strong commitment to considering “Safety – Quality” as its core value, while meeting the most stringent standards of the global aviation industry.

Overview of the opening ceremony
The program was attended by ACV Acting General Director Nguyen Duc Hung, international audit experts from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and representatives of functional departments under ACV.
The 2026 ISAGO renewal audit takes place over two days, from 22 to 23 June 2026. Its primary objective is to assess the continued effectiveness of ACV’s ground operations safety management system, its compliance with IATA standards, and the effectiveness of improvement activities implemented after certification. Within the framework of the program, IATA will conduct a comprehensive assessment of key areas, including safety management systems, operational organization, training, ground service equipment management, ground handling control, and risk prevention.
On 3rd March, 2025, ACV was officially awarded the ISAGO certification, IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations, by IATA. This achievement was the result of a thorough preparation process, including the review of management systems, improvement of operational procedures, enhancement of human resource quality, and fulfillment of the most rigorous risk-control requirements. Since then, ACV has continuously implemented improvement programs to ensure the effective and sustainable operation of its ground handling system. Its affiliated units regularly review procedures, strengthen cross-checking activities, update documents, and place particular emphasis on promoting a strong “safety culture” throughout the entire system.
Maintaining the ISAGO certification is not only aimed at complying with international requirements, but also serves as a key driver for ACV to further enhance its governance capacity. This provides a solid foundation for standardizing the entire operational chain, thereby delivering safe, high-quality services to passengers, airlines, and partners.
Through this renewal audit process, ACV will continue to identify opportunities for improvement, strengthen safety barriers, and enhance operational consistency across its network of airports. With the decisive direction of the Board of Management and the collective efforts of all employees, ACV continues to affirm its position as a professional airport operator that meets the most stringent standards of the global aviation industry.
