Incheon, 8–10 September 2026 – A delegation from Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), led by Mr. Nguyen Cao Cuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors, attended the 9th World Aviation Conference (WAC 2026), held in Incheon, Republic of Korea.
Hosted by Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) under the theme “More than an airport: Traditional airport industry paradigm change,” WAC 2026 brought together representatives from government authorities, international aviation organisations, airports, airlines, technology companies, and leading aviation experts from around the world. The conference provided a platform for participants to exchange views on emerging trends and development directions across the aviation industry.
During the conference, ACV’s Chairman Nguyen Cao Cuong attended discussion sessions and engaged with international companies and partners on key trends and development directions in aviation, ranging from the application of AI and enhanced terminal experiences to aviation security, air cargo business innovation, and airport development and expansion.

Participation in WAC 2026 provided ACV with an opportunity to strengthen connections with the international aviation community, expand cooperation with global partners, and gain insights into emerging trends and experience in airport development, investment, and operations, particularly in technology application, operational efficiency, and sustainable development.
The conference also provided an opportunity for ACV to introduce the development vision and potential of Long Thanh International Airport to international partners. As the national key airport project progresses toward completion and future operations, ACV is continuing to study international experience in airport development and operations, while exploring opportunities for cooperation and connectivity with airports and aviation organisations around the world. These activities contribute to ACV’s preparations for the effective operation of Long Thanh and support its development as a modern aviation hub with strong regional and international connectivity.
Through WAC 2026, ACV continues to reinforce its role as a leading airport infrastructure developer and operator in Vietnam, while proactively strengthening international partnerships to support the development of a modern, efficient, and sustainable airport system, with Long Thanh International Airport as a key project and a long-term strategic priority for ACV.
