As the 2026 summer peak season begins, passenger demand through Buon Ma Thuot Airport has recorded positive growth compared with the same period in 2025.
According to statistics from 1 June to 22 June 2026, Buon Ma Thuot Airport handled 464 flights, up 40.61% year-on-year. Passenger throughput reached 80,002 passengers, representing an increase of 27.57% compared with the same period last year.

In response to the rise in traffic, Buon Ma Thuot Airport has proactively developed and implemented a comprehensive service plan for the summer peak season. The airport has strengthened coordination with airlines, ground handling service providers and relevant units to ensure safe, smooth and efficient operations.
The airport has also arranged additional personnel at key operational areas, including the passenger terminal, check-in counters, security screening checkpoints and boarding lounges. Staff have been deployed to enhance passenger guidance and support, assist passengers requiring special assistance, and reinforce service capacity during peak hours.
