Da Nang International Airport recently welcomed representatives of Hainan Airlines (China) for a working session to discuss opportunities for strategic cooperation and the future expansion of the airline's operations at the airport.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration in key areas, including route network development, passenger services, and operational support, with the shared objective of enhancing air connectivity between Da Nang and destinations across China.
Headquartered in Haikou, Hainan Airlines is one of China's leading full-service carriers, operating an extensive domestic and international network while earning global recognition for its service excellence. In 2025, the airline operated nearly 1,700 routes, comprising approximately 1,500 domestic and 200 international services connecting 53 cities across Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania, and Africa.
Hainan Airlines is the first and only mainland Chinese airline to receive the prestigious Skytrax Five-Star Airline rating, a distinction it has maintained for 14 consecutive years since 2011. The airline is also ranked among the World's Top 10 Airlines in the Skytrax World's Best Airlines rankings.
During the meeting, Hainan Airlines reaffirmed its interest in deepening its partnership with Da Nang International Airport through the joint exploration of new routes and the expansion of its flight operations in the years ahead.
The meeting laid an important foundation for closer cooperation between the two parties, opening up new opportunities to strengthen air connectivity, boost tourism, and facilitate trade between Da Nang and the Chinese market. It also underscores Da Nang International Airport's commitment to expanding its international route network and further enhancing its role as a key aviation gateway in the region.
