As the 2026 summer peak season begins, Da Nang International Airport has recorded a strong increase in passenger traffic, particularly as Da Nang enters its vibrant tourism season and hosts the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026 (DIFF).
According to the operational plan, from June to August 2026, Da Nang International Airport is expected to handle approximately 69,754 aircraft movements. In response to rising travel demand, the airport has proactively implemented passenger service plans across its terminals, focusing on the effective allocation of check-in counters, proper passenger flow management and the maintenance of smooth circulation in high-density operational areas. The airport has also inspected and supplemented baggage trolleys, while strengthening coordination in internal traffic areas to reduce congestion and create greater convenience for passengers during their journey through the airport.

Alongside efforts to optimize operational flows, Da Nang International Airport has assigned ground staff to check-in areas to guide and assist passengers in using self-service check-in kiosks. The airport also continues to maintain information counters in the terminal to provide timely support, answer passenger inquiries and deliver essential travel information throughout the passenger journey.
This direct support helps passengers shorten waiting times, take greater control of the check-in process and reduce pressure on traditional check-in counters during peak periods.
