On July 1st and 2nd, Spring Airlines (China) officially launched two new scheduled international commercial round-trip routes between Shanghai, Ningbo, and Hanoi.

Spring Airlines is the first airline to connect Ningbo, via Ningbo Lishe International Airport, with Noi Bai International Airport. This new route is operated with a frequency of 3 flights per week using an Airbus A320 aircraft. The Ningbo - Hanoi trip operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while the Hanoi - Ningbo conversely operates on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The flight time is approximately 3 hours and 25 minutes, significantly shortening the journey compared to previous transit routes through Shanghai or Guangzhou.

The new route from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Noi Bai International Airport was inaugurated on July 2, 2025, with an estimated flight time of nearly 4 hours. The Shanghai - Hanoi trip is operated with a frequency of 4 flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while the Hanoi - Shanghai trip is also operated with a frequency of 4 flights a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This flight frequency provides convenience and attractive options for passengers.

As of the beginning of July 2025, including Spring Airlines, a total of 06 new international airlines have opened routes at Noi Bai this year, including AirAsia Cambodia, 9 Air, Xiamen Airlines, Lucky Air, Chengdu Airlines, and Spring Airlines.

The inaugural flight was welcomed by Noi Bai International Airport with a formal water cannon salute, along with a welcoming message from the Airport affirming its commitment to always accompany and support the airline for safe and effective operations, and to continuously improve service quality, ensuring the most convenient experience for passengers.

Noi Bai International Airport is committed to continuing to accompany and support new airlines in their operations, while constantly striving to improve service quality to bring the best experience to passengers on their journey through the Airport.
