Amid an increasingly demanding global aviation landscape, Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) remains steadfast in leveraging its internal strengths as a catalyst for breakthrough growth. In 2026, with Vinh International Airport serving as a pioneering focal point, ACV has organized a comprehensive training program encompassing communication and customer service skills alongside technical instruction in aircraft marshalling procedures. All efforts are aligned with the Corporation’s guiding principle: Safety First – Precision Always – Service Beyond Expectations.
The program is delivered by ACV’s own experienced personnel. By integrating practical, day-to-day operational insights into the curriculum, instructors enable participants to better visualize and effectively respond to real-world scenarios. ACV’s orientation is clear: to transform knowledge into practical competence, guided by the principle of operational excellence, ensuring every task is executed accurately, consistently, and with distinction in the aviation service environment.
In alignment with the standards of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), ACV recognizes that deeper global integration must begin with people. Communication and customer service skills are no longer limited to courteous attitudes but are elevated into capabilities of emotional management and sustained professionalism under peak operational pressure, ensuring that every passenger journey reflects the spirit of Service Beyond Expectations. In parallel, aircraft marshalling operations, the silent “language of safety” on the apron, are executed with strict discipline and absolute precision, embodying the principle of Precision Always while safeguarding every flight under the commitment of Safety First.
With a long-term vision, ACV is progressively developing its internal training ecosystem through a “Trainer – Assistant Trainer” model. Core trainers are tasked with directly mentoring and developing assistant trainers across member airports.
Notably, this year’s training program in Vinh saw the participation of assistant trainers from Phu Bai International Airport, a unit that achieved ISAGO certification in February 2026. This milestone not only reflects the internationally standardized operational capability of a member airport but also serves as a stepping stone for deeper engagement in a unified training network, facilitating knowledge sharing and quality standardization across the Corporation.
The continuous enhancement of ACV’s internal training system stands as a clear testament to its people-centric strategy. In this journey, every trainer and trainee become an “ambassador” of Safety First – Precision Always – Service Beyond Expectations, extending these values across runways, terminals, and every service touchpoint.
