On 8th June 2018, Mr. Le Manh Hung, General Director of Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) and Mr. Vincent Joli-Coeur, Vice Chairman of National Bank of Canada (NBC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on “Technical Assistance to enhance management, investment and operation of airports" under the witness of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Deputy Minister of Transport Le Dinh Tho. This ceremony is to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Canada (1973 - 2018) as well as the official visit to Canada (7th June – 10th June 2018) by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc together with being in attendance at the G7 Summit in Canada.

On 2nd June, 2018, Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) and Japan- France- Vietnam Joint Venture (JFV) solemnly held the contract signing ceremony of Consulting and formulating Feasibility Study Report- Phase 1 of Long Thanh International Airport project. Besides that, the contract for the design of the Long Thanh International Airport Passenger Terminal between JFV Joint Venture and Heerim Architects & Planners (South Korea) was signed.

On 18th May 2018, Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) approved the results of contractor selection, package No. 2: Consulting and formulating Feasibility Study Report- Phase 1" of Long Thanh International Airport project.

On 4th May 2018, Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) successfully held the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders 2018. The delegates consisted of Mr. Lai Xuan Thanh, Party Committee Secretary- Chairman of ACV; Mr. Le Manh Hung, Deputy Party Committee Secretary- General Director; and members of Board of Directors, Board of Management; Board of Supervisors, shareholders, authorized representatives and guests as officials from Ministry of Transport.

On 20 May 2016, the ACV – AOT Executive Meeting, which was taken place at Dalat city, is in the cooperative program on sharing best practices in operating airports signed by the two parties.
