A meeting between the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) and the world's leading airline, Emirates, took place on May 13, 2025, at ACV's headquarters. The meeting was attended by Mr. Vu The Phiet, Chairman of ACV's Board of Directors, and Mr. Majid Al Falasi, Emirates' Country Manager for Vietnam, along with senior leaders from both sides.
On May 12, Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) and China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) convened at ACV’s headquarters to explore potential collaboration opportunities. This high-level meeting marked a significant step toward fostering partnerships in aviation infrastructure, leveraging the strengths and expertise of both organizations.
On May 13, 2025, a pivotal meeting took place at the headquarters of Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) between ACV and IC ICTAS, the lead contractor of Package 5.10 – Passenger Terminal. The meeting focused on enhancing coordination and identifying optimal solutions to expedite the progress of Phase 1 of the Long Thanh International Airport Project. The goal is to substantially complete construction by the end of 2025 and commence commercial operations in the first half of 2026, as directed by the Prime Minister.

May 11, 2025 – Vinh International Airport has put into operation a VinFast electric vehicle charging station system, marking an important step in developing green and modern transportation infrastructure. Notably, Vinh International Airport is the first among all 22 airports under the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) to implement this facility.
