The event was solemnly organized in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu. The partnership between two airport operators offer promising prospects for the advancement of the aviation sector, with a particular emphasis on air connectivity, airport management and aviation development in Vietnam and Hong Kong.

Skytrax, a United Kingdom-based consultancy specializing in airline and airport quality ratings, has officially released the result of the world’s top airport rankings 2024. ACV's two airports, Noi Bai International Airport and Da Nang International Airport are honored on this list, accordingly ranked 96th - jumped 31 places for Noi Bai International Airport while Da Nang moved up 17 places to 94th in the ranking compared to 2023.
