On 17 June 2023, Phu Bai International Airport’s New Terminal 2 was inaugurated by the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV).

Mr. Vu The Phiet, the general director of ACV, stated that the total passenger volume of airports serving the peak period of the Lunar New Year in 2023 was 10,166,496 people, a decrease of 3.81 percent compared to the same period in the previous year. This is a 66.9% increase compared to the same period during Lunar New Year 2022.
Following the success of Routes Asia 2022 in Da Nang, Vietnam, hosted by the People's Committee of Da Nang City in collaboration with ACV as the Gold sponsor in June 2022, ACV continues to attend the Route Asia 2023 event in Chiang Mai, Thailand, hosted by the Airports Corporation of Thailand (AOT) in collaboration with UBM from February 14-16, 2023.

On December 24, 2022, Airports Corporation of Vietnam kicked off the construction of Passenger Terminal T3 of Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
Vietnam Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen, Chairman of the city People's Committee Phan Van Mai, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van Thang, Chairman of the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises (CMSC) Nguyen Hoang Anh, and leaders of ministries, departments, and HCMC's authorities were in attendance at the groundbreaking ceremony.
