From June 6-8, 2022, Routes Asia 2022 was held in Da Nang, Vietnam by Da Nang People's Committee, Da Nang Department of Tourism, Da Nang International Airport, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT) together with relevant units and stakeholders. In particular, ACV was considered as a Gold sponsor at the event. This is the first time Vietnam has hosted this event with the participation of many representatives from airlines, airports and travel agencies in the region. The event is to promote mutual development cooperation among partners, expand flight routes and aviation business networks, and contribute to promoting international routes and tourism activities.
With great efforts of ACV’s airports and close attentions from leaders of People’s Committees in localities in relation to remain the utmost priority of vaccination against Covid-19 for employees who are working at the airports. 16 out of 21 airports of ACV have urgently deployed Covid-19 immunization programs for frontline employees up to May 14, 2021.
On May 11, 2021, Da Nang international airport coordinated with Center for Disease Control of Da Nang city to collect test samples of Covid-19 for 2,206 employees who are working at Da Nang international airport. As a result, 100% samples were negative for Covid-19.
On May 11, 2021, Phu Cat Airport sprayed disinfectants on the entire T1 passenger terminal and Airport’s dormitory to strengthen prevention and control practices during the COVID-19 pandemic. Accordingly, the terminal and dormitory areas were sprayed for disinfection and sterilization.
From May 10 to May 11, 2021, Cam Ranh International Airport coordinated with Khanh Hoa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Cam Ranh Medical Center to organize the vaccination against Covid-19 for all airport’s employees.
