An overview of the signing ceremony
Focus on the Long Thanh "Mega-Airport"
According to the agreement, the core objective is to maximize the strengths of both parties to deploy modern telecommunications infrastructure and digital transformation solutions across the airport system managed by ACV.
In particular, the agreement emphasizes prioritizing resources for key national projects, most notably Long Thanh International Airport, to establish a "Smart Airport" model from the very first phase of operations. Notably, the two parties plan to cooperate on deploying a 5G Private Network for Long Thanh International Airport and will coordinate a pilot program as early as 2026. This is considered a critical digital infrastructure for real-time operations, offering low latency and high security.
Based on the pilot results at Long Thanh, both parties will evaluate the effectiveness to consider expanding the 5G Private Network model and digital solutions to other airports under ACV's management. ACV committed to creating favorable conditions for MobiFone to conduct surveys and access technical infrastructure to provide cost-optimized solutions while ensuring aesthetic standards.
