On July 11, Da Nang International Airport (DAD) managed 171 international and domestic flights. The following day, July 12, there were 165 flights, including 55 international flights, which is an increase of 28 flights compared to the daily average for the first six months of 2025.
A representative from Da Nang International Airport stated that the total number of domestic and international flights at the airport has surpassed the record set in 2024. On the night before the DIFF 2024 final, the airport handled 159 flights, a 30-40% increase compared to a typical weekday. In 2025, this number has risen to 171 flights, marking a 14% increase over the estimated daily average for July 2025 and a 40% increase compared to the first half of 2025.
For the past 13 years, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival has become an indispensable part of the cultural life of Da Nang's residents and a major attraction for both domestic and international tourists.
